The Sonoran Serenade Big Band will perform at the "Celebrities Helping Communities" music, arts and wine festival in Cave Creek, to help raise funds for a liver transplant that is desperately needed by an area resident, along with many other worthy charities. Our band will perform at 1:30 pm, immediately following Esteban, the legendary flamenco/classical style guitarist (www.estebanmusic.com). |

The Sonoran Serenade Big Band will be the featured entertainment at a very special "Brides and Basketball" wedding show at the US Airways Center on February 21, 2010. The Sonoran Serenade Big Band was selected by the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association to provide entertainment at their 2010 Gala fund raiser at The Phoenician on February 13, 2010. We are honored by this selection and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to do our part to help raise funds for this worthy cause. |

We are honored by this selection and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to bring our special form of musical entertainment to Musicfest's supporters at this most important event. |

The Sonoran Serenade Big Band was selected by the Town Of Carefree and the American Heritage Project to provide a musical salute to our veterans on November 11, 2009 in the Gardens of the Town of Carefree, AZ. We are honored by this selection and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to do our part in recognizing the courageous and dedicated service provided by all military personnel in support of our country. |

The Sonoran Serenade Big Band was selected by a nationally prominent Sinatra tribute singer to back his vocals and provide musical entertainment at a large corporate event in the Phoenix, AZ area. |

NOV 21, 2008 |
We had the pleasure of having a contingent of dance studio instructors and students are the dinner dance we played for on NOV 21, 2008. They were fabulous and the band members had to really work hard to stay focused on the music and not get lulled into watching the "Dancing With The Stars" caliber dancing. We got a standing ovation at the end of the night and look forward to seeing our newest fans back again at our next public appearance. |

We had the privelege of playing for another great private event on October 28, 2008 at the Carefree Resort Opera House. What a great venue and such an appreciative audience. Thanks to the host organization, Classic Residence by Hyatt, and the staff of the Carefree Resort, for making this a very special evening. |

AUG 23, 2008 |
We were especially pleased to have been selected as the featured entertainment for a large scale fund raiser for a national charity recently. This was a M*A*S*H theme event and the band dressed in military style uniforms to honor our military past and present and compliment the theme of the event. Those uniforms recreated the look of Glenn Miller's fabulous Army Air Force Band of the 1940's. Photos and video of that event will be posted to this website in the near future. |
